My principal place of residence is in the Christchurch South/Ōwhanga Constituency area.

I want to say to the children of tomorrow, I did everything I could to leave healthy land, air and water for you. I hold the women’s Coast-to-Coast record and I have kayaked many Canterbury rivers - these should be protected for future generations.

I have lived in this beautiful corner of Canterbury for over 30 years. As Chair of Sumner Residents’ Association and member of the Banks Peninsula Water Zone Committee for the last 3 years, I have worked with local communities and gained an understanding of how councils function to address local issues, including our response to climate change, water quality, public transport, civil defence, biodiversity and air quality. With a Master of Environmental Policy and Management and expertise as a landscape architect I am well prepared to make a difference.
