The Post — July 24, 2025“It’s time to take a proper look at how rates are structured and who’s carrying the burden,” she said. “Fairness matters. Many rural residents feel overlooked – and they’re right to. “Ratepayers are doing it tough right now, and they deserve better value for money. That means making sure every dollar goes where it’s needed — not into unnecessary projects or growing bureaucracy. We should be looking to smarter, more efficient ways of working — including better use of technology.”
