My principal place of residence is in the Hutt City Council area.

I’m deeply committed to our wonderful city and its communities. I was born here and live in Belmont with my family.

I value your support to continue as a councillor. After a financial career in NZ and Washington DC, I became Hutt City Council’s CFO and then chief executive. I’m now a city councillor, a trustee for several charitable organisations, and provide strategic consultancy services. I am a qualified chartered accountant and Institute of Directors member.

Council rates and debt are rising alarmingly yet our infrastructure backlog increases. Council operates at a large loss, and services cost too much. For our residents, businesses and environment to thrive, this must change!

I will keep fighting for smaller rate increases and quality, sustainable services. It is possible through determined leadership with a full financial strategy and cost review. Let’s prioritise what our community values most and do it well. Read more: www.TonyStallinger.nz
