Born in Hutt Hospital, I have lived in Lower Hutt my entire life snd in Central for more than 30 years. I worked for 20 years in architecture and urban design before spending 14 years as as a senior manager at Hutt City Council. At Council I led Council's role in the $1.5B RiverLink Project from its beginnings until leaving Council in 2020. 2021 - 2024 at Kainga Ora Homes and Communities. I worked on housing and urban development and I was lead advisor into Maori and Pasifika housing projects nationwide. I am running for Council at Hutt City Council because my interests and those of my community in the Central Ward can be better represented. My professional career has been about working with people to understand the soft & hard opportunities that enable vibrant cities and thriving communitiy.
