My principal place of residence is in the North Canterbury/Ōpukepuke Constituency area.
Better Relationships. Better Outcomes. Less Cost
With over 20 years of experience in land use, water, and water quality regulation, I bring experienced practical insight, trusted stable relationships from across Canterbury and New Zealand.
I've worked and built reputable connections with intensive and dryland farmers, Environment Canterbury, DairyNZ, local, regional and national Iwi Māori, while also engaging with wider environmental groups including Fish & Game, Forest & Bird, and recreational users.
These relationships are not easy, they involve strong views and difficult conversations, I am committed to bridging the gap, listening with respect, and finding common ground wherever possible.
I currently serve on the Dairy Environment Leaders Advisory Committee and the Hurunui District Landcare Governance Group, focused on ground actions and future-focused solutions.
My approach is grounded in collaboration, not division, focused on delivering outcomes that are practical, environmentally responsible, economically realistic, and built through honest engagement, constructive dialogue.
