My principal place of residence is in the Christchurch North East/Ōrei Constituency area.

18 years' experience in Local Government within both CCC and ECan. Depth of knowledge in water and catchment management, regulatory and consenting functions are valuable attributes I offer ECan.

BSc qualified (Geography and Geology). Focus - Geomorphology, Erosion, Fluvial studies. Qualified RMA Commissioner, Member - Institute of Directors.

My career started with the North Canterbury Catchment Board (now ECan) working in ground water, water quality and Catchment Management. Water is our life blood, without it we cannot survive. Primary focus: Functional and clean waterways, well-engineered catchments giving protection to both urban and rural communities, an efficient regulatory and consenting regime. Water is a huge focus both in business and recreation. I was raised and worked in a rural environment, but have lived in the city for many years, giving me a balanced approach to both urban and rural values as an elected member.
