My principal place of residence is in the Christchurch South/Ōwhanga Constituency area.

Having practical experience of farming and commercial business, and close links to urban and rural communities, will enable me to be an effective councillor.

I have worked in commercial real estate for 25 years and have been an active member of the Westmorland Residents Association committee for 23 years. Previously, I operated a sheep, beef and dairy farm near Ashburton.

Central Government reform of regional and local authorities will be challenging but also an opportunity to shape the future of Canterbury.

We can face these challenges by working together, while protecting and enhancing our food production areas.

I stand for a sustainable regional council while providing essential services to our region without relying on large rates increases.

I offer integrity and common sense in approaching the challenges of freshwater quality, urban development while improving our environmental footprint, public transport and services to you, the ratepayers.
