Kia ora Takapū Residents,
It has been an incredible privilege to serve as your Councillor over the past three years. I’m again asking for your #1 vote.
As your Councillor I’ve: Passed an action plan on the Johnsonville Mall; Secured $13.2m in funding for the Grenada North Park upgrade; Stopped the rollout of suburban paid parking in Johnsonville, Tawa and Newlands; Passed a Water Charter to ensure accountability from Wellington Water; Brought amendments to limit this year’s rates increase; Kept children’s swimming entry at $4; Stopped the sale of Council shares in Wellington International Airport and Worked with Central Government to change dysfunctional heritage building laws.
Now more than ever we need strong council governance.
My priorities are to see through the refurbishment of Grenada Park, reset council culture, enable development within Johnsonville, and ensure future generations aren’t locked out of our housing market.

Keri Brown, Martin Halliday and Corey White join Wellington City’s Ben McNulty to be appointed as deputy mayors.
Key council appointments will last half a term to promote accountability in council.
Ben McNulty ran as a Labour candidate alongside mayor-elect Andrew Little.
The Takapū/Northern ward councillor has secured the highest single number of votes for a ward councillor and the biggest margin over his rivals since the single-transferable voting system came in.
Andrew Little won the largest mayoral victory in 142 years, and Labour and the Greens grew their governing majority at the council table.
