My principal place of residence is in the Kaikoura District Council area. I am also standing for Council - At Large.
I'm a fresh face with a big heart and Kaikoura's been my home for 20 years. I'm standing for Mayor because I'm keen to combine my previous governance experience with my passion for this community and it's wellbeing.
Kaikoura had a rich history of hospitality and caters for thousands of visitors. We must also be welcoming and supportive to those who live here. Our community must be empowered to raising strong and resilient whanau and make this an attractive place to live with a positive environment and vibrant economy.
We need governance that's supportive of best practice in it's delivery. We must find new, innovative ways of being financially sustainable. We need strong leadership with empathy and understanding yet one with a real strategic vision for how we could look. We need to be all rowing together in one direction.
It would be a special honour to represent you.
