My principal place of residence is in the Kaikoura District Council area.
An Electrical Contractor who has been living in Kaikoura for 39 years, I am married to Lorraine and we have raised 3 wonderful adult children with 2 gorgeous grandchildren. My ongoing involvement in our community with Meals on Wheels, Youth Sports and the proposed Community Swimming Pool and Sports Facility are very rewarding. I have previously served as a Community Board member for 2yrs, a Councillor for 18 years including 6 years as Deputy Mayor and after a three break I am standing for the Mayoralty.
Promoting the development of an industrial area, supporting businesses, reducing council staff levels, stabilizing rates, lifting the community satisfaction level, financial prudence and reconnecting with our community with open, honest and transparent dialogue are all achievable outcomes for our Council and Community.
A vote for me will ensure the future wellbeing and prosperity of Kaikoura is at the heart of every decision made
