Did you see the news yesterday? It's shocking. Christopher Luxon is trying to rewrite the rules to make it harder for thousands of New Zealanders to vote.
He wants to stop people from enrolling during early voting or on election day - something over 100,000 Kiwis relied on last time. Politicians should be making it easier for people to vote - not harder.
We cannot stand by as Christopher Luxon and National undermine our democracy. Please donate today to help us fight back.

Every New Zealander deserves a say in our countryâs future.
[Name], Iâm sure youâd agree that politicians should be making it easier for people to vote - not harder. Making it harder for people to have their say shows just how out of touch Christopher Luxon is.
Even worse, yesterday David Seymour called people who enrol close to an election âdrop kicks.â Seriously. Thatâs what the Deputy Prime Minister thinks of thousands of Kiwis who just want to have their say. Newsflash, David Seymour: every New Zealander has the right to vote. Thatâs democracy.

PS -I know we just emailed you about the by-election yesterday - and I donât usually like to follow up this quickly. But honestly, this news shocked us. And clearly, it shocked you too. We've been flooded with emails from people outraged by what National is trying to do - and asking how they can help. We hear you, and weâre ready to fight back together.
