My principal place of residence is in the Mayor - Tasman District Council area. I am also standing for the following positions: Mayor - Buller District Council, Mayor - Grey District Council, Mayor - Nelson City Council, Mayor - Westland District Council, Lakes-Murchison General Ward.

Living in St Arnaud for over twenty years, I'm a retired DC10 pilot and licenced engineer, a lifelong small-holder/farmer, currently teaching aero engineering. I've been a highly driven leader in social innovation for decades.

We need bold, level-headed leadership and timely action, to deliver consistent, ethical and sustainable results. Why can't these be guaranteed? Aircraft engineering and operations achieve the highest levels of integrity. This is possible here on the ground too, ensuring positive outcomes for all.

As your Mayor I'll work diligently to deal with today's issues, whilst also looking ahead and embracing your ideas as we take back control of our future.

Tasman District has the technology, resources, knowledge and collective wisdom to lead the way to prosperity and resilience. Do we have the courage?

Let's progress beyond today's limitations. With collaborative leadership we can steer ourselves into the awesome future we all used to dream of.
