Kevin Taylor

My principal place of residence is in the Taupō District Council area. I am also standing for Taupō Ward.

Having served in the Police 44+ years I developed management and governance experience in wide ranging environments, locally, nationally and internationally. I bring extensive volunteer/not for profit governance experience extending over 30 years. As Deputy Mayor I have fully engaged in all aspects of council business.

Significant changes loom for councils; I am well prepared to confront these issues and advocate positively for Taupo. As a team builder I have proven management and leadership experience. My work and life experience has taught me to be adaptable, resilient and prepared for the unexpected. I am a strategic thinker with a clear understanding of the environment we live in.
